A plywood made of lightweight Ceiba-wood specially developed for shipbuilding. Flame-resistance is achieved by an impregnation with special salts. A modified variant is available for coachwork.
The material can be provided as a sound-insulating sandwich panel with a central layer of cork (2-10mm) or a heavyweight matting. Depending upon construction, sound-insulation levels of between 28 and 37 dB can be achieved.
A variety of ready-to-install building elements can be produced. The following surface finishes are possible:
- Aluminium sheet
- Genuine wood veneer
- Priming film
- Ship building
- Wall and ceiling cladding
- Built-in cabinets
- Separating walls
