Balsa end-grain panel
Description
A very light panel made of balsa for all applications where weight is a central consideration. The panel is made of glued together end-grain sections arranged at right-angles to the panel surface. They can therefore carry considerable weight for the weight of the panel itself. When sandwiched between two facing layers a sandwich panel results which is stable, strong and yet light.
