Plywood with a core of plastic matting

Description
A composite material with two finnish birch ply panels and a central thermoplastic matting layer, specially developed for use in coachwork, motoring and shipbuilding. The central layer reduces the effect of air-trasmitted vibrations. Individual requirements, such as several central layers can be catered for.

Prefabricated finished building elements can be manufactured upon request. Coatings include special varnish, fire-retardant paint, aluminium sheeting, HPL/CPL, water-resistant kraft paper or floor coverings.

Applications
Floor panels for insulation and construction purposes as well as partitioning walls and elements for:
- rail carriages
- busses and coachwork
- boats
- noise insulation chambers
- loudspeakers
