"The Fédération Européenne du Négoce de Bois (FEBO) was founded in 1962 as the “Association des Groupements du Négoce intérieur du bois et des produits dérivés dans les pays de la C.E.E” (AGNIB). The associaton adopted its new name in 1990. The trade formerly grouped together under FEBO was purely internal. The europeanisation of markets, and their increasing globalisation, now mean that the previously regional trade is nowadays more and more active in the import sector.
