This composite material is typically used for suspended elevation panels on timber frame constructions. In contrast to fibrous cement panels, the stabilising element of cement-bonded particle board are wood fibres from coniferous woods. Cement-bonded particle board (CBPB) are made primarily with coniferous woods (fir/spruce), cement, water and mineral additives.
